Greenkeepers is a project-based organization. Our usual modus operandi is to conduct a large-scale project over the course of a year or more. On the side, we run smaller-scale projects consisting of fundraisers, educational panels, youth awareness campaigns, and other ways to ameliorate the environment.

You're independent and self-motivated.

Because we are a youth-led organization outside of school, most of our communication happens offline. That means you have to be able to handle a wide variety of tasks without constant supervision. You are proactive and relish the chance to contribute to your projects – you're confident and capable. You’re reliable.

 

You're kind and respectful.

Here at Greenkeepers, we work as one. We do not talk behind each other back, we do not badmouth each other. We do not apply just to look good for college resumes -- our organization is for people who genuinely care for the environment!

You're dedicated and committed. 

We get it. You have sports after school, classes on weekends. Although your extracurricular accomplishments may be amazing, we don't care. We simply look for those who are able to prioritize Greenkeepers as their top concern and dedicate their best to improving each project. Generally, GK holds check-up calls every week and requires members to attend in-person meetings or service events monthly.
